Some GM trucks in the early 2000's may have an issue where the temperature may get stuck blowing hot air on the driver's side and cold air on the passenger side. If you climate controls are not working properly, the culprit tends to be the HVAC blend motor/ actuator door.

Before purchasing anything or attempting to make a repair, try doing the reset procedure in this video.

Ah the dreaded Nissan 350Z interior panels where all the paint scratches off. I don't know why Nissan decided to poorly paint these little trim bits in these interiors, but they did. And it's up to us to restore them so it doesn't look so embarrassing at the next car meet.

In this video I go over an easy and durable way I like to paint interior panels. The key is to use "high build" filler primer and truck bed liner or texture paint if you chose. I like the truck bed line because it's decided to be chemical resistant and be put through very harsh environments. So if you use it in the interior it's going to last a long time.

Getting better sound and functionality starts with changing your head unit. You'll see step by step what's involved in a car stereo install / wiring up and installing an after market head unit into a vehicle. You'll want to note that this is a deck install in its simplest form. Vehicle with factory amplifiers or complex dis-assembly can create a larger challenge. If you're still unsure how to do it, it might not be a bad idea to have your local professional do it for you.

This is a demonstration video showing how to properly install an aftermarket head unit into a particular vehicle (2003 Mitsubishi Lancer).

In this video we go over a variety of vehicles with different tire and traction device setups and see how they do on a snowy incline.

Dodge Sprinter: All Season Tires, RWD & Traction Control
Mazda Protege: All Season Tires, FWD
Chevy Silverado: Studded Snow Tires, RWD, G80 Locker
Nissan Frontier: All Terrain Tires, 4WD, Electronic Locker and Traction Control

The intention of the video is to also consider the tires you're using, depending on the season to help maximize road safety.

*Correction 2nd gear reduces torque applied and does not slow down rotation.* But why I was saying that is because from a start, a NON Slipping wheel making traction does spin slower than a wheel just spinning quickly right off the bat. You know what I mean, so just watch the stupid video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhZpIPIe66g

Which one to get? In this video I go over some of the basics when it comes to comparing a ported enclosure to a sealed one. Both of their own set of unique characteristics and they should be taken into account when building a sound system, in order to achieve the type of sound you're going after.

One is not better than the other, you just need to know the application and what you're trying to achieve. Sealed enclosures are definitely better when space is at a premium and you're trying to hit a variety of frequencies easily. Sealed does require more power to run though however, because the air inside helps act as a suspension it also adds resistance. So make sure you have a good amplifier hooked up.

Ported/ vented enclosures are a more efficient design when it comes to bass output.

Get more bass without losing the space! In this video, I try to help give you ideas to help you get more bass from your ride without taking up all your cargo space. I show custom enclosure, vehicle specific enclosures, to sub setups that just don't take up that much space at all.

So hopefully this video will people that always wanted to get some "thump" out of their ride but weren't too sure where to put a sub enclosure.

Watch till the end because I have a quick slide show of other vehicles I've worked on to help give a better idea what's out there.

Handle more weight, properly! In this video we are installing Ride Rite airbag helper springs from Firestone for XMT Construction to better help the pickup handle payload and heavy tongue weights when towing.

Here we go through some basic tips to installing the airbags to make your install easier and proper.

Too many times do I see trucks hauling payload or towing and they are just overloaded. Most trucks on the market have their spring rates tuned for comfort, which sacrifices load carrying capabilities. Airbags or airbag helper springs will help you keep your rig level when loaded, and also give you the option to soften the ride when you're not carrying anything.

Look for RP0 code G80 in your glovebox (on the sticker) to see if your vehicle came with one from the factory.

Showing the EATON G80 locking differential working in a variety of situations (mud, snow, wet pavement) and giving a brief description about it and its use in the beginning of the video.

*I state in the video this is designed to be a LOW SPEED traction device. How ever in the video you'll see me spooling up the tires quite a bit. It isn't recommended to put this unit through that type of abuse, an LSD is better suited for that. But this came in the truck when I bought it and it works, and I just like having fun with my gear and pushing it to its limit. I am fully aware of the consequences in terms of catastrophic differential failure.

Hope you find this video helpful!
